Franklin Township

Franklin Township is located in the southwest portion of the county along the Carroll County line. The current population is 835.

Most of the township is rural agriculture land. Franklin Township has access to Route 11 via Route 30.

During its early history, Franklin Township had one of the first churches established in the county.
