Elkrun Township

Located east of Lisbon, Elkrun Township population is 4,687. It’s interesting to note this is the only Elkrun Township statewide. Routes 7 and 11 run through Elkrun Township and provide access to other significant highways in Ohio.  One of the main attractions for Elkrun Township is Beaver Creek State Forest. Not to be confused with Beaver Creek State Park, Beaver Creek State Forest offers 1122 acres of beautiful scenery for hiking. . The portion of the Little Beaver Creek that flows through the township is good for kayaking.
